How the calculation works

The number of boxes is the room area multiplied by (1 + wastage / 100), divided by the per-carton coverage, then rounded up to the next whole carton. Always confirm against the actual box coverage on the supplier's product spec — a 1.99 m² carton versus a 2.23 m² carton can shift the order by one box on a small job.
