Steps

  1. Add a text box to the plan for notes the installer needs.
  2. Choose Markup → Markup line, click two points and pick the trim type, such as Door bar, Scotia or Ramp trim.
  3. Each trim type gets its own colour and a line in the legend; drag the legend where it fits.
  4. Tick Summary on the plan to print the materials list on the sheet.
  5. Export the PDF and check it reads in mono as well as colour.
