Steps

  1. Double-click a wall's length label, type the real length and press Enter.
  2. On a PDF page the drawing stays put: the wall turns orange to show a typed length, and the room's area uses your number.
  3. Do the same for every wall that needs it; the room area recalculates each time.
  4. On a blank page a square-cornered room reshapes to the length you type, and the walls joined to it follow. An angled room keeps its shape and shows the typed length in orange, as on a PDF.
  5. Trace roughly, then type the numbers. You never need to chase pixel accuracy.
