Steps
- Open Layout. Set each room's origin wall and pile first; the offcuts follow from them.
- The Offcuts panel lists every offcut and the room it comes from.
- Drag an offcut from the panel onto a room that needs carpet. It snaps in, and the total drops.
- Or click Place in… on the offcut card and pick the room. No fit means it fits nowhere.
- The card shrinks to what is left of the piece, and the fill is listed under Placed.
- Pile running the wrong way gets a warning: Place anyway, or Cancel.
- To take a fill back out, click × on its row under Placed.
- Watch the header: Total lineal metres goes down and Saved goes up.
